I installed the mod on Jan 22/07 on the Fusion site and it's stopped dozens of spammers from signing up. Only one spammer got through in nearly two months! Yes, I run a few different forums, but I own a Compass so this place is like home |

So, just out of curiosity, do you actually own a Fusion? They do look pretty nice. Sure it is a great car, but a FORD??? Even they admit it is still Found On Road Dead, and backwards, Driver Returns On Foot. Seriously, though, just gotta give you a hard time. I either see more Fords on the side of the road, or in our shop. In the P/U segment down here, it is a neck and neck race between Ford and Dodge. Can't help it, it is a pretty fierce competition down here between Ford and Dodge, cars or truck, but at least we have the HEMI!!! No offense intended, or course, just friendly competition. Everytime, Ford comes out with a bigger truck, so do we. I have to admit, all I own or drive is Dodge or Jeep. Finally talked my partner into GIVING away the Ford Aerostar. Now, all she has is an '87 Chevy and an '02 Honda 919. She wants a Jeep also, but she knows she is not safe with that, as long as it is parked here, it will be mine. For her, Nissan Titan, or Chevy Colorado. But, no matter anyone's personal opinion, GO HEAD! After all, that is what everyone else has to say about the Compass.

No, I don't have a Fusion. My commuter car is a 95 Escort GT and the family hauler is the Compass.

A Jeep owner ripping on Fords thats funny. j/k
I only have one thing to say - ok 2 - Shelby and Rousch. (yes I know about the VIPER Aiight I'm done. All things being equal the only thing that led me down the ford path again is past performance - pretty good 99' - escort and much better customer service (at least round here). Proud 2008 Ford Escape 4x4 XLT owner. Oh and My next vehicle will need a diesel so whoever comes up with a small suv/cuv with GREAT not good mileage and GREAT not good low torque. Who ever does that when I go looking again will likely win - here's hoping it's at least North American

So what is so funny about that, lol? We don't share that many parts, not like we used to. My old Dodge has Ford parts on it, because they used to be very compatible that way, it just did not work the other way around. I can't put Dodge parts on a Ford, but I got a little irritated having to drive my Jeep to pick up my partner when the Aerostar broke down, because usually I was still sleeping. It is just friendly competition. We just have our jokes is all, and nothing personal as well as no offense are meant or intended. In all honesty, Ford is coming out with some nice looking and very versatile vehicles (the new and improved Taurus?!?). The Fusion and the Edge. Look nice, but still prefer Jeep. Like I say, though, that is why there are so many models available, there is something for everyone.
