HELP: How to remove Center Armrest ???

Hi. I just bought a pair of DVD player Headrests and I need to remove/detach the center armrest to be able to pass the wires and connect to a 12V source (thinking about the 110V aux. outlet area would have 12V input), it's the nearest place I see from front seats. I removed the 2 screws at the bottom of the CD storage and the thing moves up a bit but it seems to be attached somehow with the center console (where the shifter is) and I can't find how. I tried to pull it up but I don't want to break anything. I searched on the net with no luck. Please help me!
