2011 antenna question

I was wondering if it was possible and what I would have to use to take the antenna off, I tried unscrewing it but it was too tight. Should I use a wrench or would it mess something up? Ideas??

Congrats on your new Compass jrN, you can remove the antenna - it will unscrew if you use pliers, mine came by off hand!
