What HID kit did you get? What all did you use to connect it (ie canbus bypass, circuit resistors, etc. for light out warning)? That cutoff looks really good!
One of my fog lights just went out and I am contemplating getting HID for low beam and fog light. I know at least the fog light circuit does not have a light out system. I currently have regular Silverstars, which are good, but I really want a brighter, whiter light.
In addition to the kit, I had to purchase a separate relay harness (also available through them). I wired it to the parking lights and it was basically plug and play. No light out warnings or anything at all. I was impressed with the cutoff. Since then, I have repalced the 8000K bulbs with 6000K which produces a more crisp and white light. I wasn't a huge fan of how blue the lights were with the 8000K kit. I actually bought the 8000K because a buddy of mine said that was the bulbs he had and I loved the look. After checking with him last week, he said he made a mistake and actually remembers now that he bought the 6000K bulbs.
