JEEP CELEBRATES 70 YEARS WITH 70TH ANNIVERSARY EDITIONS

This year marks Jeep’s 70th anniversary, and the off-road marque is celebrating the event with a trio of special edition models. In addition to the United States, the 70th Anniversary Editions will be available in select European markets.

Jeep Compass 70th Anniversary Edition
For those Europeans wanting to celebrate Jeep’s 70th anniversary in a more civil way, the unique package will also be available of the Jeep Compass. Like its Wrangler counterparts, the Compass 70th Anniversary Edition will come fitted with 18-inch wheels and 70th Anniversary badging.

Inside the Compass gets Dark Slate seats with perforated leather inserts embossed with Jeep logo and Chestnut accent stitching and piping. The special edition Compass also features Chestnut stitching on its steering wheel, a Dark Green cluster overlay, premium media center with navigation, 70th Anniversary logo on the radio screen and Berber floor mats.

The 70th Anniversary Edition models will be available during the first quarter of 2011. Buyers will be able to choose between Bronze Star, Bright Silver and Black exterior paint schemes.

The special edition Jeeps will debut at the Geneva Motor Show.
