You can't really go wrong with a Dewalt, Stanley, Crescent or Craftsman kit. Those are some good brands with sturdy tools and Craftsman shouldn't break the bank.

I find once you have lifetime warranty on whatever tools you buy, you're good. A lot of "cheaper" tool brands do offer great warranty and that's all that really matters.
