Brrrrr, that first pic just looks cold but then to see the acutal temp, ouch! Sure hope you're staying warm!!! And here I am complaining because we're getting temps in the mid 20's at night here, which is unusual.

Ya I'm so used to the cold cause I work in a freezer so it's second nature to me. Sidenote tomorrow morning I'm going to pick up rims for my compass, then start getting them ready for summer. I'll post pictures when I get home with them

I actually like the K&N without the heat shield, to me it just looks better as an open filter, lookin' good there!

Hi Shecky,
Can you take pictures of your air filter from the top for me please?
Now that you have removed the K&N shield I want to know how it's made under the filter to see if it's vulnerable to water.

Thank you!

sure mowgli ill get pics later today, sorry for the late repy. the best way to get rid of dust and water on the topside of the engine is to add weatherstripping foam around the hood. since i did that a while ago i dont get any dust or water on my engine cover and filter. but im sure if you go puddle jumping it will happen haha

feel for life here is the thread for my brake calipers, Painted the brake Calipers

from what i remember it was a straight forward project, just take good care with the rubbers between the two parts to the caliper so they dont get ripped. and for the painting you need a heat gun with the caliper paint so it sets.

SheckY!! Cool stripes! Gotta tell you this was well worth sneaking in thru a proxy so the pics would load! (photobucket vs China lol).

You've inspired me to paint my brake calipers, will definitely post pics of that, got the paint, just gotta find a day off somewhere... Keep up the good work!

Got some mail the other day, Rallye Spoiler painted steel blue for $140cdn shipped, and my 1" wheel spacers. had to paint the spoiler black, which was a shame the steel blue is a very nice color. ill post more pics when i put it all back together. while i have the third brake light out i hit it with some nightshades. i plan to do the tail lights tomorrow.

Installed

very nice feel with the spacers, less body roll around corners with the wider stance

Primed

2 coats of nightshades, i wanted them to look tinted not black.
