Actually, what happened was the tree was on the side of the path. He drove over it and the tree lost traction against the ground and the tire spun it up against the firewall. The guy was okay except for some very serious bruising in his abdominal area and in his... err.. yeah, that area...

I have heard that the new wranglers sheet metal is thinner than past years. Do we think this might have contributed.
