trany fluid

So I was wondering, since the 07 compass I have has no dip stick to check the fluid level, and the deal say I have to bring it to them...for $75.00 min, there has to be a way the shade tree mech can check it properly? I havent had any problem with it, Just like to keep things in check..

Unfortunately, there really isn't a way to check it yourself. There is a special tool they use to do that at the dealership.

Yep, drive tell it quits. Some tranny shops attempting to sevice these may have a tool and know the proceedure.
