101,000 miles '07 compass

Heres the deal.went to a used dealership and was looking at a 2007 jeep compass ,it has almost 102,000 mi tires are half life brakes the same runs drives, just the engine top cover is loose and the engine shakes a consideral amount but does not have a missfire . I was wondering is this normal for these engine. The shop mecanic said they have a motor mount on order, which he thinks thats what it is. I checked the mounts and none are broke. All of this for 10,000. 350 a month for 4.5 yrs?good or

Doesn't sound too good to me, 350 for 4.5 yrs is 18,900 not 10,000, with high mileage and engine problems I'd shop around, there must be plenty of 07's or newer available.

Is it a Jeep dealer? If not try one because you'll get better aftersales support

I have a 2011 and you should get into one for 350 on their new consumer finance deals

im guessing 10k is the cost of the vehicle, and the 8.9k is the interest. id shop around, im sure there are fresher 07's out there. i bought my 07 with 55,000km on it

i paid 12 000 for a fully loaded north edition 2008 47000km one year ago..

but I had tons of problem with it..

Way too much for an 07 and they have a history of the most problems.

Sctty1986 - grab your wallet tight and turn around run as fast as you can somewhere else, seriously its a lemon. Those engines don't shake like that either.

If you must get a Compass look for a good 2009. they changed a lot especially inside that year.

Run far, run fast. This is not something I'd go for, personally. Let's compare: I just bought my new-to-me 2009 Compass with only 14K on it for 15,000. This had manual 2.4, sport bars, Boston Sound and sunroof. I think you can do better than the offer you describe.
