Half Shaft Recall

FCA is recalling 1,200 new 2017 Jeep Compass (MP) for half-shaft issues.

After dealing with 6 broken or disengaged half-shafts, the recall has become a big enough problem that the recall came about thankfully. No accidents or injuries have occurred at this point in regards to the issue.

Recall coded T26 by FCA and 17V301000 by the NHTSA

The recall will begin on June 23rd and dealers will be doing inspections on the left half-shaft and replace them if they aren't installed correctly.

If it is broken even while left in park, the vehicle will roll so get yours checked out asap!
