9th Gear Question

To those with New Gen Compass Trailhawk at what speed does you transmission shift into 9th gear?

Spending time learning the science of the mechanisms of friction, lubrication, and wear of interacting surfaces that are in relative motion

You'll hit 9th when cruising the highway, I just can't remember exactly the conditions for getting there. I had the 9 speed in my 2013 Cherokee.

I read an article online that said it doesn't kick into 9th until you're doing 80 mph. I only have about 500 miles on mine and haven't had it up to 80 yet. Some of the shifts are pretty subtle, but I guess you'd know if you watch the tach. Don't get a ticket!

I was looking up this question specifically. I was cruising at 72 mph, kicked it into manual mode out of curiosity and saw I was in 8th, 2000 rpm. So, I knocked it to 9th rpm dropped to 1500 and could tell the little 4 didn't like it one bit, so kicked it back to 8th and back into auto mode.

I guess I'll pull the Valentine out of the weekend car a preform an "experiment" soon. I was planning on doing it anyway as I was curious if there is a max speed cruise can be set at, as I've found on some other Chrysler/FCA cars.
