Thank you! Finally a video of the new compass with manual transmission. I'd like to hear your thoughts on the transmission. I've driven both the CVT and the 6spd auto Patriot. I'd like to know how the 6spd manual compares. I haven't driven the "new" tigershark but the 2.4 block was lacking in power with the auto. Not that I want a drag race vehicle, but wondering if the manual can wring out a little more pep. Thanks again. Hope to see more videos.
Thank you. Not a torque machine like my 09 Jetta TDI 6M was, but it gets the job done. I bought it because my '15 Cherokee Trailhawk was having too many problems because I used it off-road. Want a Wrangler, but we want to buy a house. You can do that math! It is smooth and the Jeep drives decent. More shifting on the highway than in my '12 Cummins 6M or my '11 Fronter 4.0L 6M. Seats help make it a pleasant drive. I like getting 28.5+ on the highway now, and 24ish combined around town. Best I'd get on the same roads in my TH was 17. 14 around town. I did the 9spd auto in the TH, it was my first auto trans. Never again. I can get power up to about 4,500ish RPMs, then it just makes noise. I did not buy it to outrun anyone.
