Drivers footrest !

Hey guys Iím new to the Jeep life . Just got my 2018 Jeep Compass Trailhawk last week. I have noticed that the drivers left footrest is angled way to high for me . My hip and knee start to hurt after about a half hour of driving . Has anyone else had this issue or notice that itís just too steep of an angle. Let me know if there could be a way to remove it . Thanks !

Remove it? I doubt that is within the realm of possibility. I haven't had any reason to try to peel back the carpet there but my guess its all you will find is steel body under it.

Are you sure your seat is adjusted properly? As simple as it may be a lot of people don't think logically about setting the seat and end up with a less than ideal situation. People have a tendency to adjust the seat until they can reach the steering wheel properly and thats not how to go about it. The steering wheel is adjustable, the pedals are not, so you have to first adjust the seat until you can reach the pedals comfortably and have the correct amount of room in the footwell, THEN adjust the steering wheel closer or father away until it is at the ideal distance. Lock everything down at that point and you should be in a good spot.

Do you have the power adjustable seat? If so maybe the front end of the seat is set too high or low relative to the back of the seat, putting your legs at some weird angle. The seat adjusts in like 12 different ways so lots of room for error.

I don't have any issues with the foot rest at all. If you can't get into a comfortable position with a 12-way power seat and a fully tilt adjustable telescoping steering wheel then I don't know what to tell you, maybe put your foot somewhere else

^^What he said. And, I have 3 pedals to contend with. No issues other than wishing there was more space between the pedals.
