Has anyone installed the GoRhino Dominator bumper step?

Just curious. It looks, though, like the tow hook on the left may get in the way..
Is anyone good at photoshop to combine this to a pic of a compass to get an idea of looks, rear departure angle decreases, etc?
Thanks

Ok this got the better of me so I had to go and measure. This hitch step is 36" wide and that puts one end right on the recovery hook on the Trailhawk so clearance could be an issue. The back of our Jeeps have a pretty good curb to it so that helps. But looking at it 36" looks huge on the back of Compass and that curve may make this look like it is sticking out of the back too far to look good in my opinion. Also it might make getting in and out of the rear hatch more difficult. It would offer a lot of protection to the rear to help cover bumping into something unexpectedly or backing into light brush.

They have a smaller one that does not have the lower step at 32" that might look better and should clear the recovery hook it is for the class one small hitch and adapters are available. For me if I wanted something like the wider one I might would see if you could build one or have it built to match the curve of the bumper and stay tighter to the bumper that would look a lot better but that's just me.

Agreed.
It looks interesting & is potentially the 1st of a new series of accessories for the new version compass.
We'll see...

Garage
Thought about something like this when my three-legged dog started having trouble getting in and out of the back after the lift...
