Jeep Compass Trailhawk 2018-Fully Loaded

Hello Everyone!

Got a Jeep Compass trailhawk 2018 with Nav Package, Safety and security group, advanced safety and lighting group, leather group, panoramic sunroof, beats audio, power liftgate trailer tow group.

Issues
Surround feature sometimes shows up in audio sometimes and other times disappears.
When surround feature appears it does nothing to the soundfield at all. It is not working

Vehicle does not save far setting from collision alert. It always reverts back to med upon restart of vehicle.

Auto hid highbeams does not always activate either. Even in pitch dark areas. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt.

Music sound so bassy especially hip hop or electronica that it is overwhelmingly bad. I had a beats system in my renegade and is was pretty good for what it is. This system is just sloppy bassy. Cant even enjoy music.

Auto parking brake doesnt always disengage automatically. Sometimes yes sometimes no.

Have any of you had these issues?

My 2017.5 model has same issues with Beats bass. Buzzes sometimes and I have to eq it down a bit. Also same with auto parking brake- seems if I idle at all for a minute it won't disengage, but if i start up and shift into drive or reverse immediately it works.

Auto dim seems fine for me, and I don't have the collision alert option.

well i know in the manual transmission version the driver's side seatbelt needs to be on or else the parking brake won't auto-disengage. I found this out trying to move the jeep around in my driveway and not having the belt on and stalling a few times.

does the beats audio logo show up on boot up of the screen when you turn on the car? My renegade used to show that....maybe my radio is not recognizing the beats system?

From a Music Producing standpoint Beats audio systems are naturally Bass heavy like very bass heavy so that's actually normal in the car i would just tune down the bass eq! Us music producers dont use beats headphones for that exact reason that bass drowns out all other frequencies. You can thank Dr. Dre and the hip hop community for that lol

My auto does the same thing. If you don't have your seatbelt on, the brake won't auto release and you'll have to disengage it manually. I assume that it's a safety feature.
