These fit the drl with some trimming of a tab on the bulb. However there is an issue of them staying on very dim for up to an hour after the vehicle is shut off. Possibly a canbus issue. I would not recommend these.
I recently installed these for the DRLs and they work great. Fit was perfect and they shut off completely when the vehicle is off. No issues and light output was great, direct plug and play.
I'm unable to post the link to them but you can search "Catinbow LED Fog Light Bulbs PSX24W" in Amazon and they'll come up.
I ended going with these for both headlight and fog lights. Output is awesome with beam pattern as the halogen bulb instead of all over the place. Fitment was also great with no dust cover clearance issues.
I have received no dash errors even when accidentally having the plug on backwards for the light. I'm starting to wonder if it would even tell you at all
The lower current draw from LED bulbs can make the canbus system think the bulb is out. Using some LED bulbs requires the use of an additional component to prevent canbus error lights.
I had no issues with mine. Adjustment was fairly easy and no additional harness was required. Install might suck but light output is great with them. I originally purchased the aux beam's but the beam was everywhere and they have no adjustment whatsoever. Also, they did not fit with the dust cover back on them.
Nice, I just put this brand in my motorcycle. I have to double check, but I think these also have the SAE/DOT approval on my box as well. The beam cutoff was identical to the halogens on the bike.
You have to loosen three screws from the inner fender by the wheel well, and move move it enough so I can reach under it to the back of the light bulb, trust me took me a while to figure this out. I almost took apart the whole bumper cuz i wanted to change the bulbs so bad.
Got mine from Alla Lighting. Size on the website is H11/ H8/ H9 (yes, thats what it says on the box ). The pics of it lighting the road and driveway are fog lights only ( headlights off) (it was snowing and you can barely tell)
Has anybody replaced the reverse lights with LEDs that do not stay lit when vehicle is off? I bought some Phillips LEDs and 1 side stays lit when turned off.
Look up what you need there or on eBay just put there name in the search and what bulb you need. Their CANBUS turn signal lights are great no errors and all high-quality stuff(have them in my compass and Tahoe). Not the cheapest but they are really helpful on messages and take back returns easily. Just did my whole Tahoe with there products with new headlight and had to return some stuff it was no problem at all.
Bought some Chinese cheap crap for my DRL on the compass and they stay on after the car is off. Going to replace what I can from these guys then go from there.
so, for now, Tahoe is completely done with the company above no errors. the compass only has CANBUS turn lights installed but will come back and let you know how everything looks and works on the compass once it is done.
PS: doing a project to switch my reflective headlight to projector headlight from some Chinese manufacturers, that thread is in the mods area if you want to just keep an eye on it. more DRL on that headlight and will have turn signal LED in the headlight as well. so we will see.... haha
IronWalls are garbage. Fitment issues in the factory housings, then they scattered light like crazy once I did get them in. And they put out less light than the factory bulbs.
I didn't try the high beams. I tried installing one low beam, had fitment issues, so I swapped to the other. Finally got it in, just to have less light and more scatter. It was daylight out, but I was in the shade. I could clearly see the factory light output and cutoff, but the new LED I couldn't see at all. I originally thought it wasn't even on, until I noticed a slight shadow on the wall. I did notice the LED on this bulb was slightly higher than the filament on the factory bulb. That probably caused the excess scatter. After all of that, I didn't even bother with the rest of the bulbs. Personally, I'd go somewhere else for a quality LED.

To fit the High beams you need LED without a fan. I don't think they help much and I don't feel like putting in the old halogen blubs. Again it is hard to see if they are helping because of my lowbeams.
I installed my eBay LED headlights today. They're MostPlus brand. I got a kit that had 2 sets of H11 (low beams and fogs) and a set of 9005 (high beams). The low beams and fogs I installed after a couple hours, but the high beams don't fit. The fan on the back of the LED is too large and hits the housing. I've added before and after pics; I'm roughly 5ft from the wall. When the LEDs are aimed right, they have a similar beam as the halogens. They look brighter in the pics, but it's not as noticable in person. I kept the factory bulbs, so if I don't like them, or feel they have too much glare, I'll send them back.
Hey all - random question here.
I have installed LED DRLs in my 2019 Compass as well as Beamtech LED Fogs.
I do have the premium light group which includes the Bi-Xenon HID Headlamps.
My question is, I cannot for the life of me get the DRLs to stay on when the headlights are turned on.
I can get them to stay on in all other light modes but for whatever reason the two will not stay on together.
I have tried 3 different types of LED DRLs and have the same luck. Any ideas how to fix this?
@RadRacer I figured out the vanity mirror bulbs and removal. Get your plastic trim pry tool, go to the passager side just in case you somehow screw something up and break some plastic. Take the plastic pry tool and get under the plastic at the BOTTOM and pull up. If you do from the top you will break something. Once you get the bottom free then pull out a little bit then down to take out the plastic mirror and hinge. Once you do this, both bulbs will turn on they are T5 bulbs. I got these off eBay because they did not look like total crap.
Now once you replace them they actually go all the way through where the regular bulbs sit. Just push them in till it seems right to you on where the regular bulb was and test fit the mirror before putting it all the way back on. Other than that, easy replacement!
My DRL were throwing a fault finally, they were crap anyway from China(they had the glow). I replaced with my own recommendation of last bulbs, they are overkill. No more codes and no more glow
They go in hard you really have to push because the rubber ring to keep water and moisture out is aggressive! Either way, it works great!
Lastly, I still need to do the headlight replacement I am also looking for new fog light LED that is yellow. I have some now but they leave a small glow, although I did pay good money for them and they were USA made
I've tumbled down this rabbit hole of trying to change all of my girlfriend's Compass lights to LEDs... Please send help.
I've tried Beamtech and Fahren for highbeams, and they don't fit... both issues were the housing--I didn't even bother with the dustcover. I bought the low beams for these brands, they were fine, able to get them in and put the dustcover one but my OCD won't let me keep them.
For the front turn signals, I put on iBrightstar 7443 Switchback LED Bulbs but they didn't do the dual light switching I was hoping for--and they gave the hyper flash error. Returned.
For interiors, I'm currently on Yorkim T10/194/168, but they give the glow--though they turn off after a bit. I don't like them, they'll be returned soon.
I just ordered a full round of Lasfit bulbs for exterior and interior lights, let's see how this goes...
These LasFit bulbs came in, and I have a feeling they won't fit the factory housing--certainly not with the Dustcover. I'll attempt it later today, but I'm pretty sure it's not gonna go. Here's a pic of them against the Fahren's that didn't fit:
Anyone have a set of LED bulbs for the Highbeams that fit the original housing, maybe even the dustcover?
The lasfit will work, it won't do the flashback for the turn signal. Going white and Amber, but it will not give code unless it is a long light then it will give hyper flash. Just like it states on the site when you buy it.
They are the same size as a halogen bulb. Should fit with no problems
i got these in my fog lights. Basically match the halogen bulbs in output. Sometimes the bulbs have that glow after turned off and sometimes they don’t. Other then that they work good.
Well, got a "Best offer" in on 2 sets of Auxito H11's and Hopefully winning (the only bid) on a set of 9005's. It'll save me a few bucks from what Amazon wanted.
Thanks for sharing your success story. Just hope they last..............keep the Halogens handy, lol
Hi all again, it's been about a week with the Auxito (high, low, fog), and I can back up Mclink12's claim on these LED's. They work quite well, no flickering, no faults, fit behind dust covers, nice and bright, with very little dark spotting (hardly noticeable). Only thing left is longevity. they give you a 2 year warranty...we'll see how that goes.
