Anyone removed their front bumper yet?

Has anyone removed the front bumper yet? Toying with the idea of adding a 24" light bar in the lower grille opening (25.5" wide) on my trailhawk and mounting it to the steel bumper beam that's directly above the lower grille opening. Just curious what's all involved before I waste time and break things. I really need to snag a factory service manual one of these days.

I also have a idea (idea is already working on my desk at home, just need the pin outs/wiring diagram of the headlight switch to be sure) to repurpose the oem fog button to enable the fogs and also enable the light bar independently. Thinking about making it turn on/off a light bar if you hold the fog button for a couple seconds.

I had my fender liner off changing the DRLs and it looked like the front bumper is two piece and the lower part was just held on with some clips and I assume some screws underneath.

I'd like to get mine off to so I can install a license plate mount... yeah I know. A lot of work to mount a license plate holder but I hate having a front plate and I want to mount it low and towards the passenger side.

I opened the wheel well cover but couldn't reach far enough in to mount the bracket. The whole facia needs to come off ughhh

Changing the DRL bulbs? or entire unit? I'll be changing my bulbs here soon so I figure I'll wait for the warmer weather and for a good reason to be poking around in there. Plastic is so much more forgiving when its warm out

I changed the entire unit to those switchback ones but ended up just turning off the DRLs since they are a ricey looking white-blue color. I have the upgraded headlights anyway which puts out a nice pure white light

Obviously figured out how to remove the bumper. This video is pretty much the same idea even tho it's a Grand Cherokee, this video is basically what I used for a guide on removing my bumper.

I've had those switchback lights sitting in the box for months now. I thought the bumper had to come off to install them. So you can confirm that they can be installed through the fender liner? Or did you wind up having to pull the bumper?

Bulbs don't require bumper removal.

Replacement DRL assembly also don't require bumper removal as there's enough room to unbolt the assembly from the bumper through the wheel well, wheel and wheel well liner should be removed to make it easier tho.
