My wife and I just purchased a 2018 4x4 Latitude 2 days ago. The car is for my wife. In our "excitement" of the purchase of the new vehicle and trying to keep our 3 year old entertained while we were at the dealership we failed to notice that there are no steering wheel controls for the infotainment center for volume. She is very disappointed in not having that. We have the 7" Uconnect screen with Apple Carplay. There seems to be "blanks" in the steering wheel where the controls would be.
Does anyone know if it is possible to buy the control switches and add them to the steering wheel? Hoping the needed wiring and connections are already in place.
They're being the steering wheel left and right side.
What he meant to type was "They are behind the steering wheel", volume is on the back side at 3 o'clock. Tab-like rocker buttons. The right side is volume, the left side will change tracks/stations, etc.
I would highly recommend reading the user manual that came with your Jeep, everyone should read the whole thing but at a minimum you should read the chapters on the infotainment and technology group. If everyone did this there would be so many fewer embarrassing threads around here with stupid-simple answers...
