Latitude front Facia to Trailhawk

Looking to see if changing the front lower air damn to the traikhawk one. Clearance is minimal with the latitude trim and was hoping itís an easy swap. Thoughts? Experience ?

I was thinking the same thing, It would involve swapping the whole front bumper not just the lower fascia

Latitude

I looked at this possibility briefly because at first I wanted to get a Manual transmission latitude and knew the lower profile latitude front end was going to be an issue going places we wanted to go. I turned out passing on the 6 speed and just getting a Trailhawk out of the box was the best decision for us!

Sadly the whole nose needs to be transplanted. If you have some deep pockets it is possible or try to wait for a Trailhawk to turn up in a junkyard or something. Here is a link with the parts diagrams that should shows everything down to the front impact bar needs to be swapped over. Open the two links side by side in small windows to compare part numbers. If you go for it best of luck and please post results!

Bumper is built in sections, you can swap to the TH lower. Just hit up any Mopar part websites and most have the blowout diagram of the bumper and parts.

Negative the lower Trailhawk Front fascia will not fit other trims! If you open the links I posted above side by side you can see the upper bumper cover is very different in how the lower fascia connects to it. The only way to pull this off is to change the whole nose right down to the impact bar.

I just removed the air dam, and added a lower center support to the frame. I gained about 2 inches and can drive over most curbs without hitting.

Yep...that's what I did also after the first scrape. Removed the lower air dam and added some support so the remaining piece would not vibrate. Looks good, no issues and clears the dips so much better now.

I actually just did this work. I have a TH, and someone backed into me and broke through the lower grill, broke the absorber, and tore the front license plate holder off (which is different for the TH than the other models). Cost me ~$250 ($350 up front, but $100 back after lower facia core is returned to the dealer) to get the plate holder, lower facia, lower grill, and absorber.

Job took me about 3 hours, and you do NOT need to remove the bumper to do it. I couldn't find any good videos on YouTube, other than a Grand Cherokee video which was similar, but not very helpful. It was pretty easy to figure out as I went.

Just be careful taking the old bumper off. You will need to use all the hardware and clips to put the new one on.

I removeit to put the skid plate engine protection this brings all the screws and support, not vibrate because there is a screw in the middle.
This is a fabricant in Argentina is perfect.
