If it doesn’t happen again, it might be a glitch. Did the battery warning came out at the same time. If there is an issue with the battery, the car can throw strange errors since the sensors are under powered and can give false signals. If it happened after a cold morning, check to see if battery is healthy and connections are tight. If it was something serious enough to shut off the engine, I would assume a code would be stored. The only way I can imagine no code being stored after such an event is a glitch or an error under conditions that the computer cannot even write errors.
My cousins Audi had a similar error like “stop safely, engine malfunction”. It turned out to be a lose battery terminal.
