Wind Noise - Open Window

I was curious if anyone else was having an issue when they open a window at any speed over 30 mph. The noise is hard to explain but it is deep and almost painful on your eardrums. And the only way to counter this noise is by opening more windows. Is there something I can do to reduce this effect?

I've had that before, not just in the Compass.

Vent visors might help but I'm not sure....

this happens to me when i only open the rear windows.. All i do is open the front window a little bit and the "helicopter nose" goes away. is that what you are talking about?

What Causes In-Cabin Wind Buffeting in Cars? - DailyXY.com

An explanation here, open a second window to create flow

One way to combat this is to open the windows on opposite corners, eg. front left, back right. This creates a good air flow. Also works well if you smoke while driving!

Unhappy Whomp whomp's

The first thing I found about the Compass that I did not like.
After building cars for a hundred years, why the #@%% can the engineers not put out a vehicle without this issue. WTF !
