Ideas?

Hey guys (and girls), I dont know if anything like this has been started yet but if it is it has died since i havent seen it in the new posts for months but, Just wondering if anyone has and ideas they are willing to share about different mods to their compass' that they have thought about or are thinking about, maybe they dont know how to go about doing something and it;s a strange idea or whatnot. It came across my mind because i like the looks of chrome but personally not a huge fan of fingerprints which chrome loves (so all you out there with the chrome, it looks great just keep it clean ) so i was wondering if anyone had any ideas for cosmetic mods that didnt put chrome on my compass since i am trying to avoid it personally.

I haven't added any chrome to my compass. All of my accessories have been either smoke or black. I've done bug deflector, window deflectors, tail light covers, grille inserts. I'm currently looking at black fog light covers and new rims.

I Love Black! I don't think there is anything better than blacking a vehicle out. I blacked out my last vehicle but since I got the Compass I have went chrome. Not a lot at all. Just a fuel door, tailight covers, and hood vents. It gives a great look and turns a lot of heads. In the future I definately want blacked out rims though. Otherwise I don't have much else planed for the Compass. Basically bought the vehicle a month ago.. ordered all the stuff I wanted for it ... put it on and in :P For the interior I bought some Slushee floormats and cargo nets which was a very good purchase in my opinion.

Mods: Cargo Net, Chrome Tail light Covers, Chrome Fuel Door, Billet Grille (Upper and lower bumper), Chrome Door Handles, Chrome Hood Vents, Vent Shades, Jeep Mud Flaps, Slushee Floor Mats, Windows Tinted, Kenwood X994 Deck, K&N Cold Air Intake.

Future Mods: Audio System, Cool Future Ideas that I get from the Forum of course.

Hi Smokey,

What did you do with your grill? It looks like bug mesh in each slot.
Is that what it is and if so, where did you get it?

Tks

I bought it from a local wholesaler I buy through. It's made by cloudrider (who does not sell directly to people). I bought the stainless steel inserts and took them to a powder coater to get them done in black, actually the same powder coater cloudrider uses.

Here's a breakdown of the costs:
Cloudrider:
Stainless steel inserts - $150
Black inserts - $600

Powder coating stainless steel - $40

For around $200 I got myself a $600 retail set of grille inserts.
