Not that I'm aware of ............................

I kinda miss the DVD player I had in the Entertainment Ctr of my last car (Chrysler) I loved watching a movie in the car while waiting to pick up my daughters at dance, hehe

Video or Youtube

If you jailbreak your phone I believe there is a tweak that allows you to mirror whatever app or video you would like. Just need a jailbreakable phone model and version.

Its more or less illegal in the united states for the driver of any motor vehicle on a public roadway to be watching or have distracting media in view while operating the vehicle. A handful of states don't explicitly have a law against watching video while driving but all states have distracted driving laws and such an activity would fall squarely into that category. Its considered a major safety issue.

As such, all manufactures of automotive video infotainment systems (OEM and aftermarket alike) have safety features and provisions to prevent such activity while driving. Its an annoying fact of life, like how in our Honda I cannot add my phone as a bluetooth source while the car is driving even if I am the passenger and not operating the vehicle. It has to first be stopped and placed in park to pair a new device...

So at any rate, its illegal and the system has been explicitly designed to prevent you from doing it. If you are clever you can circumvent the safeties but you do so not only at your own risk but at the risk of any passengers and other motorists you encounter on the road.
