The value of a Five Star Dealership

Another front end repair under warrantee.
43000km and the lower control arms needed to be replaced, covered.
This is after changing the tie rod ends and suspension struts at 34000km.
Yet the service manage did not acknowledge any special weakness in the front end.

What were you symptoms when they were worn?

I doubt the design has changed since 2007 but I would hope the parts quality would have. Sound like a major weakness in the engineering.

Only a slight noise intermittent, like during a slow turn over road bumps.
I had the local tire shop do an oil change, rotate the tires and check the suspension and steering to make sure all was in good order. I did not tell them I was hearing any noises and they did not find any irregularity.
That was three weeks ago, but I felt something still, so i brought it in. The dealer pointer out the plugs were due to change at 40,000Km so I let them do that, and they also changed the L/Control arms.
All better now.
BUT this IS after doing the tie rod ends and struts and stuff last spring.

Good to hear you have a dealership that takes care of you like that. No mention of front end weakness eh? So long as they're content with replacing parts as they wear out, that's on them I suppose, as long as you're still rolling.
