Hi, I was curious if anybody could tell me how to permanently disable ESP? Thank in advance.

You can't permanently disable esp, you can use ESP full off (hold down the esp button for 10 seconds until it chimes) and you will have no esp intervention below 56kms/h

Thanks for your reply, I knew about that but it automatically turns back on when the vehicle is shut off. I was hoping maybe somebody knew where the module was so i could try unplugging it. I just really hate the jerking it causes when shifting into 2nd gear on snowy roads. Also i sometimes like to slide around snowy corners as well lol.

What year is your Compass, You can pull one of the fuses that controls the abs system, and you will get rid of everything, Brake Lock Differentials ABS and the esp/stability control.

If you have a 2012 your fuse box (located on the right side of the engine bay when looking at the front) will look like this




Ensure the vehicle is off, and take out fuse #34 it should be green.

If you take out the wrong fuse, and the vehicle doesn't start, don't worry just pop the fuse back in and you'll be fine.
