Suspension Issues?

Sup guys. I have been noticing that my moms Compass rides a lot smoother than mine. I have also noticed that I get a "creek" sound when I turn or hit the brakes. Has anyone had this problem or know what I am going through here. I'm thinking it's the Suspension on the drivers side. It's a pretty loud creek ... Imagine you trying to open a door slowly so no one can hear you come in and then it CREEKS! That's kinda what it is...... HELP!

CV Joint most likely. Try a hard turn left and right to the steering wheel limit and back off a bit because its hard on the pump to have the steering wheel hard over. By that I imply driving circles or cirle 8's. Other than that its some brake rotor issue which would be visible.

No majic, you have to get it up and under do some checking. Possible causes only.

Post your rides info, year model etc. WE WANT TO KNOW. I not only helps on the reply but know what vehicles of what millage and years having what problems. Some people don't intentionally, why I don't know but its like telling a mechanic my car don't work. Dahhh he's thinking what will I do. Not even knowing the year, model, millage model and circumstances.

I am getting to the point that I may not repy to new post missing the key info because there is so many variables as it is.

I've been doing the whole turning thing and don't notice anything... but it has been raining and maybe the water kinda makes it quiet? I don't know but the main time I hear it is when I come to a stop at a red light or park. I don't know what the hell it is. Sounds like something with the brake but I don'e know.

Finally.

Finally got some free time to take the Compass into the dealership and get it fixed. It was making some really bad noises in the past week. Just got the call and he said that it was the Ball Joints on both sides. Not the cheapest fix by any means but I just want my Compass to be better already! Just figured I would let everyone know what my problem was. I got quoted around 600 to fix. Hope everyone is having a better day than me :P

Well year and millage still unknown but the control arm w/ball joints are dropping in price I found many on eBay listed. You need a good private garage to take care of it or do it yourself. Thats an expensive fix for that unless there are more part involved like the front struts as well.
