Jeep Patriot Price

Jeep Announced the price of the Jeep Patriot coming in 07. Anyone suprised that this is cheaper then the Compass?

*These are american prices and CDN prices have not been announced.

Jeep Patriot Sport 4x2 $14,435
Jeep Patriot Sport 4x4 $16,175
Jeep Patriot Sport 4x4 Off-Road $18,615
Jeep Patriot Limited 4x2 $19,425
Jeep Patriot Limited 4x4 $21,175
Jeep Patriot Limited 4x4 Off-Road $22,615

I'm debating getting the Patriot Sport 4x4 Off-Road or a Compass Sport 4x4 w/North. Price wise in american dollars they look about the same. Figure I'll be waiting till the summer now to get either one.

I don't think the Patriot will be available quite yet in Canada....??? I think it's being released to the US first.

I was surprised too. If our compass would have taken any longer I would probably have ended up with 1 of them, as I think they will get a push on the production line.

we got out date yet.

I WAS surprised to see it being cheaper - seemingly inexplicably. This and its more mainstream style being the case, I would almost guarantee you will see sales higher than that of the compass.

well I notice the limited has 17 inchers, not 18s, so that could be some of it. Overall I can't say. Maybe a pricing faux pas, maybe level of appointment.

You'll definitely see some more expensive ones with freedom drive II, but I'll go on record as saying it is a bad move to make the patriot less money. I optioned one out versus the compass we have coming and the diff was almost 1000 US. Bad news.

bad news

Your right its bad news. Cause its gonna be hard to walk from a jeep patriot off road.

I think the standard wheels are 16" Steel Designed Wheels. Jeep Logo and all.

Off road adds 17" alloy wheels with the goodyear wrangler white letter tires. The 17" wheels make more sence then the option 18" on the compass cause of a wider varity of tires avail at 17".

I still dont see how its 1000 bucks cheaper.

I'm sure they've effectively undermined compass sales with thier pricing schedule.

I talked to my dealer this week, and if he would not have given me a firm date for production, I would have swapped out for a patriot at 1000 cheaper.

They are adamant that their market research shows 2 different sets of people should buy the compass versus patriot, but I disagree myself..

time will tell.
