Hinges on 2012 Compass.

Has anyone noticed that the hinges on the front doors of the new CompaSS DO NOT READILY HOLD THE DOOR AT THE INTERim position and the doors just fully open. I think this is a design fault. Can any owner confirm?
Thanks

Hey abacus180, just checked my doors and all 4 have a good mid-point and it holds them in place.

Not sure why yours has issues, did you get the dealer to inspect it? Some members have had doors adjusted from memory.

I'm going to need rear driver side doors adjusted soon as it doesn't close like all the others and rattles a bit if that helps

If the car is parked with its nose down slightly it is even worse.
Just been to the dealer, says that all compasses are the same as they don't have a strap holding the door at mid position. Does anyone else agree I'm thinking about calling it a design fault?
