Leather seat question.

My Compass Limited has leather seats with the heated seat option. I notice creaking or crackling underneath the seatcover(heating element?) when initially boarding the Jeep, I don't notice it while driving though. It seems to be isolated to the upper seat back. Does anyone else have leather seats and notice this? It's not a big problem, I'm just trying to figuire it out.

I have the leather and have not noticed this issue. Are you sure it is not something like your leather belt rubbing the seat?

It's definatly in the seat, upper seatback. I don't know if the passenger seat does the same thing, haven't checked it yet.

So far you are unique with this issue, my seats don't creak or crackel.
