Built in flashlight

The one thing on my Compass that I have never been able to get to work is the flashlight. Any suggestions or comments?

Mine pops out and works fine . . . check it out with the service department at your dealership . . . maybe they will just swap you one that works.

Thanks! I think I read too many threads about enlarging something that I had to take a break. Site looks great now.

I had a problem with mine not working. I went back to the dealership and they actually swaped the entire light housing out for a new one.

2009 Jeep Compass North 4X4, Sunburst Orange

Everyday as a child i used to pray to God to give me a jeep. After a couple of years i realized that God did not work that way. So i stole a jeep and asked for HIS forgiveness

The only problem I have with mine is my boys popping it out and leaving it somewhere...
They've misplaced it 3 times in 3 weeks.

Don't mean to sound silly but you know the pushbutton to turn it off and on is on the side right?

Mine works fine and has a bit of a hair trigger release. Maybe your battery will not take a recharge?
