These suspensions wear out quickly unlike the WJ are far more robust and as a daily driver may never need an overhaul. I am neer 260,000km in my Wj with original ball joints etc. I replace tie rod ends less than 30k ago. But my Compass had already all 4 struts replaced and a control arm going in this weekend due to ball joint failure. The dealer did not pick up on it while under warranty. I found it while replacing the inner tie rod end. I am sure the other side will follow soon enough.
You can have ok millage but spend a lot more on repairs. I get 4MPG less on my WJ then on the Compass Hwy on the same run.
