Compass cabin filter new problem !
Purchased a new 2013 Jeep Compass latitude last week . Went to add a cabin air filter as I'am sure Jeep did not install one because the price would be to great of a burden on the company . Bent in the sides of the glove box to clear the rubber gromments on each side , however the glove box will not drop out . There is now a black line tether attached to the inside of the glove box with a washer in the line that is attached to a hole in the glove box . The cylinder is behind the glove box and to the right, it is a white plastic tube that is spring loaded. I tried sliding the tethered plastic washer inside the hole slit but it will not move . I guess Jeep wants you to take the vehicle to the dealer now to replace or add a cabin air filter ?
