Oil question

I am a new owner of a 2012 compass latitude.

I stopped at a quick oil change place and they pressured me into getting the synthetic oil, claiming that if I didn't get synthetic it would void my warranty. After doing some research, I think that wasn't true. But now that I have synthetic oil in my car, can I go back to regular oil?

You can switch back to conventional oil with no issues.

switching back and forth won't have any bad effects at all.

Oil question

I've switched to fully synthetic and here's why:
Stop Changing Your Oil! | Edmunds.com
Any changing of tires or filters does not void your warranty. A lot of dealerships insist that you go through them because it "wont void your warranty". I say keep it synthetic.
