Welcome 2011

Well the 2011 model is finally up on the <http://www.jeep.com/en/2011/compass/> website, although you cannot yet "build and price" the vehicle.
For Canadians, <http://www.jeep.ca/en/vehicle_home.php?np=Compass&mc=CMP_SPT> we can only see the 2010 model.

It's January - 2011 - ya'd think we could have complete information on the official websites by now?

BTW - I still think the new model if F-ugly and has lost it's Jeep personality. I would think somebody at Jeep must be embarrassed by the changes otherwise they would make much more of an introduction marketing blitz!

As and afterthought . . . years later, many years later, the earlier models of the Compass, with the round headlamps, will be the model more sought after by enthusiasts (the way enthusiasts shy away from the AMC-CJ's with rectangular headlamps), increasing the future value of the original models.

my 2007 Compass 5-Speed, Limited!

{BUT NOW SOOO IN LOVE WITH MY NEW CRUSH WRANGLER!}

You know, I have to agree with your afterthought in that we may very well end up seeing a new round of "purists" if you will, those that, like you said, prefer the older model Compass to the new one years from now, much like some of us still have a lot of affection for the older model cars and trucks, the ones they "just don't build like that anymore."
