Disconnect the crank case vent hose from the valve cover

As the tittle suggest, any suggestion on how to disconnect the hose that goes from the air box to the valve cover in a Compass 2013 2.0L ? I'm trying to install a KN CAI and this is the 4th step, but the hose seems really tight, no play at all, no clamps to loose, so I'm worried on how can this be done.

I'd try to turn it (rotate) by hand, once you feel it loosen then turn and pull at the same time. Don't use any tools on it.

Essentially what Zoner99 said. Keep twisting it (rotating) back and forth, and start to pull on it, you could also use a little flat head screwdriver to give you a bit of help, just don't push too hard on it to damage it. They're not super fragile or anything but it's always good to be a bit careful.
