Is it the same process from the Grand Cherokee?

So, there just really marker lights I take it. I have these on mine, however, I am not sure if they light up... I guess I will have to go check that out.

European models require the rear fog lights; typically US models have simple reflectors in the same locations. They aren't required in the US but they are allowed; some manufacturers include the lights on US models. So yes it is possible to retrofit the lights on a US model using factory parts. Seems to me like a lot of work for minimal benefit.

I agree, I was looking at the manual and it's quite the job; I thought it was easier and less costly. If I ever do go ahead with modifying those reflectors, I'll probably only get the bulb housings and wire them directly to my brake lights.

Yeah, I was looking at the instructions and man, what a chore for sure. I don't think I will need that..
