Frosty Windshield

Guys and Gals:

Just recently purchased a 2014 Jeep Compass as my winter vehicle while I have my other in winter storage.

Is it just a freak thing, or is anyone else in a colder climate having issues with the windshield frosting up on the inside like mine does, all the time.

Needless to say, it is annoying.

Anxious for any solutions to this issue, if it is indeed an issue with other Compass owners

Thanks in Advance

it just means that there is water vapor in the air inside the vehicle, which freezes on to the inside surfaces overnight. It's a normal thing for example if there is a change from damp weather to cold weather. But if it happens all the time there must be a source of water vapor inside the vehicle. An example can be soaked floor mats.

Thank You. I did wash the mats during a warm spell, and I checked and they were still damp. I dried them out and did not happen the next time it was cold.
