sand driving /tow hooks for sport

We are going to Myrtle beach SC and wanted to check out Fort Fisher NC . It has a a beach that you can drive on.
My question to all of you is . Would my 2nd generation Compass sport 4x4 would do fine there?
TIA for any info.
Also no tow hooks on the sport model , nothing OEM or after market. whats anyone doing to solve this?

Only on my Jeep Wrangler JKU and Our Grand Cherokee Laredo (we no longer have).
But for this trip we want to take our new compass , it is way more comfortable for long drives than the wrangler.
The Grand Cherokee did great at the sand dunes in Florence Oregon.

you may be ok, the thing about beaches they can get soft.
i usually used 4low when i was on the beach with my other vehicles. and just let it idle around.

watch the existing ruts and its usually fine

Did you ever take it on the beach? I have a sport and I would like to know as well if it will be ok on the beach.
