What do you like most about your Compass?

What do you like the most?

For me, I like the value. I got side airbags, EBD, ABS, 17" rims, fog lights, 4WD, etc., for a very good price. I think the Compass is a great value.

So far my favorite things are the height-adjustable drivers seat and the gauges.

Less than 24 hours old!

We just bought our 2007 Jeep Compass last night and love it! The service from the dealership was second to none! I'll post more in the near future, right now I'm on my way out to play our new Compass.

Thanks for the welcome and yes you're right I work in radio here in Vancouver. I'm looking forward to new postings as more people find out about the site. Where did you purchase your Compass from, ours is from Carter in Burnaby. 5 hours after driving on the lot with our 2002 Jeep Liberty, we were driving off with a 2007 Jeep Compass. The staff at Carter were amazing to deal with! Congrats and Thanks for the site.

Hi, well I'm from Saskatoon so I bought my Jeep from Dodge City. We were going to buy a Caliber until we saw the Compass. I hadn't even heard of it, so we went home and Googled it. Then I went back the next day and bought it. Traded a 2001 F-150 SuperCrew. The Compass sure is better on gas

The First Ding!

Not even a week old and we've already ready had some "individual" (not actual words used) slam their door into the driver's front door on our Black Compass! I'm thinking of strapping rubber tires on the side like a tug boat for protection We're still lovin' our little Jeep. We traded in a 2002 Jeep Liberty for it. We are making a trip to Tofino at the end of the month so I'll let you know how it behaved when we get back.

What I Like Most

1. This is a wonderful technology platform. Some much "good stuff".

2. The engine is a double overhead cam, four valves per cylinder, variable valve timing on input and output valves, high compression ratio, counter rotating balance shafts, fuel injection.

3. The CVT itself is a marvel; what simplicity. How well in unison the engine and CVT work together.

4. Four wheel anti-lock disc brakes.

5. Standard anti-roll and electronic stability protection. When driving the car feels rock solid.

A lot to like.

I am really loving my heated leather seats. I have never had either before and never knew what I was missing! I also love the way I can quickly pull into a parking stall without having to take a few tries at it like with our truck. I know that this probably goes for most cars but it has been a long time since I drove anything smaller than a 3/4 ton crew cab truck, LOL. I also like how I still feel like I am sitting up high even though I'm not in our truck. This was one of my reasons for getting a Compass (well, actually it was the reason I was going to buy a Caliber)....I hate feeling like I am sitting on the ground like with some other cars.

For me it's the overall feel and look (yes, in that order), she certainly is a sensible SUV design.

Not sold on the CVT as yet, takes a bit of getting used to.

2.4L engine has ample power with good fuel economy (2.0L, hummm) - she's not really a serious off-roader, more at home in the snow!

Limited interior trim is good, the Boston sound system is amazing!
