New Jeep Truck?

Has anyone seen the "new Jeep truck" concept floating around out there? I was thinking the Wrangler would be my next purchase when the time came around, but THAT I would wait for. Thoughts? Comments?

Of course, this is all assuming it will happen - we all know that Jeep's been banging this idea around for a while....with no production.

Not sure about the spare tire placement, but overall, I like the look...

Check it out - Jeep J8

Go to Wikipedia and check it out . . . Jeep J8 is a military quality Wrangler Unlimited, built in the middle east since 2008. Also available in the US for so inclined.
And wait - the 2012 Wrangler catalogue shows a picture of a pick-up truck package available to modify the Wrangler Unlimited.

Its a wrangler unlimited with a $5K truck kit - you can get the kit right now at your dealership.

yup, it's available here. turns your wrangler into a 2 seater truck with a 5' bed. uses the two panels in the front that the hard top would use, and a modified hard top for the rear, so it's still a convertible.

Unfortunately (from what I've heard) the biggest problem/mistake is that this kit is irreversible.
