Strut Tower bar...

So, I'm going to be making a strut tower bar/brace - plan is 1/2 or 3/4 steel tubing not unlike this photo "supercars.net/carpics/3965/2008_Ford_MustangBullitt7.jpg" but due to the fact the Compass towers are so much farther back, it's some funky bending. That, and the stupid computer thing they plopped right beside the driver's tower makes it one helluvabend... keep you posted.

Eric, can I ask, how do you get 9.1L/100km??? Do you do a lot of long distance commuting? Mine will drop to 11 if I go on the freeway for an hour or so, but with city driving it sits on 13 or thereabouts. I basically have the same setup as you.. 2.4L right?

9.1 is my usual average... on a road trip from "Toronto" to Montreal I got 7.8 - most of my driving is county roads (80km/h) for about 20min. each way... I also learned to not have a heavy foot at all.
When I drive - it's 9.1 or so, the wife drives, 11-12
Yes, we have the same vehicle exactly

Loch,
I am getting about the same under similar conditions to Eric. Of course now that it is colder it is slipping closer towards 10.

Thats pretty good mileage.. I pretty much only get to do stop-start city driving and I guess I must have a heavy foot. Cruising down the country roads is good for mileage tho since you probably dont stop too much...

9.1? 11?? 13???

Try 8.4 typical highway. 7.6 on long, flat runs. You cats have lead feet.
