Howzit from South Africa

Hey guys. Been following the forum for the last week or so and been impressed. Most of the guys here seem friendly and helpfull, especially compared to some of the other forums I've been on (Triumph675.net in particular).

Picked up my 2011 facelift Limited in Brilliant Black on Monday. 6 months old so a bit of mileage. So far had the driver and passanger windows tinted to 35% to match rear with clear anti-smash and grab to rear (unfortunately a necessity in South Africa). Tow bar on order - hopefully here next week. Park pilot system in stock and looking at having it fitted with tow bar. Potential mods I'm looking at are an HID light conversion (last car had xenon and I'm missing it) and sound system (only have the standard one). Trying to convince the wife to let me have the wheels also made black but getting some resistance there....

Pics to follow once I've cleaned it (was on a dirt road this morning).

That's the registration plate holder. Over here we get given a temporary registration number on paper that you stick in the back window of the car while the dealer registers the car and has the new plates made. the temp is usually valid for 3 weeks. We usually keep the temp one to the last day because speed cameras don't pick them up Only fit the proper ones the day the temp expires. My dealer dragged his feet a bit and only gave me my permanent plates the day the temp expired. My mate just a new Kia Sportage and his temp reg expired last week. Still doesn't have his permanent plates. If he gets caught he gets a big fine but will probably get the dealer to pay it.

Since the pics had an Execuhitch removable tow bar fitted. Will post another pic later in the week - actually looks good when out though hideous with the gooseneck fitted. just want it for my bike rack.
