Hello from Ontario

Just picked up a 2007 compass via a lien auction . One question this vehicle only has 120k on it yet the tranny and convertor were replaced is this a common failure on this vehicle ??

Well it can be. If you read the forum and older post the 2007's have a lot of premature front end and other wear outs. There should not be any original front end partsor struts in it by now. Most failed by 50k. As for the tranny. They're not bullet proof, I am on my 2nd one. There as been many computer programming updates to the vehicles. I you're has not been looked at by a dealer for years then I'd say it was way behing for sure. But you'll have to pay for it now.

You should be posting in the regular forum area not here.
