waiting!!!!!!

Hi from Ireland. Just ordered my compass last week, told it would take about 5 weeks cos i want black and slate leather with my black exterior, I prefer it than the beige colour. What do ye think out there?Really looking forwrd to getting it I've only seen 3 over here so far and they have great road presence.Jeep isn't that common over here so they definetly stand out.I'm getting parking sensors. chrome sills, and wind deflectors on my limited. The compass is only available with 2.0 turbo diesel (volkswagen) in Ireland but thats perfect for here.I have a 2.5 year old and a baby due in nov, how are ye family people finding it? good I hope!
Anyways hope to get some feedback.
Take care.

Welcome Celtic Warrior
Black/grey leather on the Black/Ltd works for me.
Is that a 2007 0r 2008 at this point?
Good luck with your wait, have patience, I was told 4-6 weeks at the end of March, for a black Ltd with sunroof and 5-speed, took delivery June 29th.
WORTH THE WAIT IN EVERY WAY (so far)

Loved
my 2007 Compass 5-Speed, Limited!

{BUT NOW SOOO IN LOVE WITH MY NEW CRUSH WRANGLER!}

2007/2008?

Hi guys .Thanks for feedback.I'm hearing alot of mention regarding 2007/2008 model. Whats the story with that , please don't tell me the model is changing already in 2008, I haven't even got mine Or maybe it's just referring to the way car registeration is done in north america or canada. You see the compass has just been released here about 5 weeks ago, so i'm hoping that the current model is gonna be around for a few years before they change it. I don't want to have an old model after just getting it. Can anyone enlighten me?How are ye finding it space wise, for passsengers and stuff? For those of you who are interested the compass is only available in the limited edition over here with freedoom drive 1 as standard. it's funny how different regions get different cars I wonder how they decide that .Take care guys. really enjoying being involved in the forum.P.S how do you put your jeep model and spec at the end of each post without havin to do it every time, plus add pic of jeep. Thanks

Hi and welcome..

We only have us 2 plus the dog, but have had plenty of company in the compass with friends and relatives and all is well.

Lots of room, great for packing things around as well.

We have a limited 4x4 with grey interior, red exterior, CVT, and my G/f who drives it everyday loves it as much as the day she got it.

We've seen the winter, the summer, rain, the mountains and it's been a champ.

Hey! Congratulations on your purchase!! Guess it took less than the 5 weeks! I had to wait over 10 weeks for my limited here in Canada. I love my limited and get tons of compliments. I also chose the dark grey colour leather interior, I didn't like the beige too much, for some reason, it made it look more plasticky to me.

Mostly it's just me driving it around, but occasionally I drive me and my friends to the beach, or coworkers to lunch and everyone fits fine, even in the back seat. It will be a great family vehicle for you I'm sure.

You will love driving it, it's pretty smooth and easy to maneuver. I was coming from a very small mazda mx3 and I adjusted quite easily to this vehicle, I LOVE it!

About the pic and signature, you have to click profile and it's all there. The pic has to be really low resolution though.

Good luck and enjoy your Compass!

ps - wish we had the diesel here! let us know how you like it.

Thanks for the feed back I'm very happy so far.It looks great I notice other drivers checkin it out when we are out and about. It looks very distinctive and there is not alot of them about, so they don't know what it is.
I agree with what you say about the beige interior looking cheaper.I think the grey and black looks quite classy & practical at the same time. Our little boy loves it cos he is much higher up now and the privacy class cuts the suns glare. The 2.0L diesel is no slouch either I'm glad to say, there is plenty of pull when you need it.They could have done with making the glove compartment and the door pockets alittle bigger don't you think, come to think of it is there any rear door pockets? god what am I like I love the wheels (18"), the 7 slot grille and round headlights and the gear stick(manual). thats it for now I'l l try and get a pic up soon. Take care guys.
