two month old - Eurocompass

Hi!, two month old black Limited, 2.4 CVT, with Boston stereo.. in Greece. The thing cost me 50,000 dollars (can you believe it!) which is slightly less than a RAV4, or Suzuki Vitara... Anyway, I love it, even though it was hit a couple of weeks ago, new right rear door needed....

I havent driven it much, as my wife is driving it, but everytime i drive it is seems great!

Bad luck on the tip on your rear door. That would be my worst nightmare after getting a new car. Well at least it wasn't to serious and no one was hurt(i hope).Take care.P.S I think you and I are the only 2 euro people here

Nice to have you both. How is the price of petrol over there. I am orginally from Canada and it is between $0.95 and $1.12 in Canada now and around $0.75 here in the US. All amount in US dollars which are only now worth about 4 cents more than a Canadian dollar.

My wife drives our Black FWD Sport and she loves it

Hi again.. it was a bummer to receive the call from my wife about the accident. Fortunately no one was hurt. That's what insurance is for anyway. (right rear door costs 1000 euros, before painting and placement....)

Petrol is quite expensive. Now we are just about at 1 euro per liter, that is about 5 dollars (us) a gallon.... Funny thing is that people used to buy the 3.7 liter Jeep Cherokee (still called Cherokee in Greece) and are now selling them because they are just unaffordable to drive around.

Fortunately, Jeep is considered a status symbol here , that means the vehicles retain their value , considerably over time. The bad thing is that the dealers are exclusive and parts cost are tremendous. For example- Splash Guards in Greece cost 80 dollars, while I found them on the internet for 23 dollars a pair, cargo net cost 90 dollars here, and I ordered one over the internet for 20 dollars again. Thank God for the e-commerce.

The good thing here now is that we can explore all the hidden beaches (they are truly beautiful) with the Compass, taking dirt roads and trails, while my Saab now sits at home....

Talk about expensive parts, our Compass's back side window on the drivers side was hit with a rock or something. That little small tinted window cost $575. and $100. labor to install it! That's US dollars. That window is a DCX only window.
What engine do you have in your compass? Is it a 4x4? and what kind of MPG do you get? We typically get 22 to 24 and we have 7,800 miles on it.
