New and Marine Blue

Hello all.
I'm new to the Compass and to forums in general so this is really great for me.
I ordered the car in late August and received it first week of October. It arrived the day before I left for a two week vacation so it sat quietly inside my garage. I've been driving it since last Monday and am very pleased.
Lots of room and I think it looks good too. This makes me wonder why the TV ads focus more on the bobble-heads than the car. Was Jeep embarrassed by its looks or were they appealing to a younger crowd supposedly interested in the bobble-heads and sound system.

Mine is Marine Blue with the Northern Package. Auto trannie, no fancy tailgate sound system, and that lovely, potentially carcinogenic new car smell.
I have seen no other Compasses in my hometown but did see one on my aforementioned vacation in the States.

I'm happy with it so far! And so is the wife. (The true meaning of happiness!)

The TV adds suck IMHO. I'm glad I saw the jeep 'before' seeing the ads on TV.

The ads never got my attention at all, I became addicted to this vehicle after watching the driving television episode where they reviewed it, especially with the Jeep Green colour. I wasn't even looking for a new vehicle at all, but now I am pretty sure I am getting one

Welcome as well. Hope you enjoy it, and Webmaster is right, there are a lot of you guys, but that is great. Happy driving! BTW, the bobble-heads were not NEAR as bad as "city-man"!? Seriously, what were they thinking with that one???
