Jeep Released 2018 Compass Pricing For The UK

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles has announced UK pricing specifications for the all-new 2018 Jeep Compass and it starts at an affordable £22,995 ($30,466) with deliveries beginning in February next year.

Once on sale, enthusiasts can choose from four trim levels: Sport, Longitude, Limited and Trailhawk though we won’t see the last one on showroom floors until the summer of 2018.

For the base price, customers will get an entry-level variant called the Sport 1.6 Multijet 120 hp 4x2. Quite a mouthful for something that’s powered by a 1.6-liter diesel engine. Sending 120 hp and 320 Nm (236 lb-ft) of torque to the front wheels is a six-speed manual gearbox.

Standard equipment for this trim includes a set of 16in alloy wheels, cruise control, 60/40 rear seat split, LED tail lights, leather steering wheel with integrated audio controls and forward collision warning.

One step up is the Longitude trim, which comes in three flavours. There’s the £24,995 Longitude 1.4 MultiAir II 140 hp 4x2, a £25,995 Longitude 1.6 MultiJet II 120hp 4x2, and a £28,495 Longitude 2.0 MultiJet II. Aside from the engine upgrade, this trim gets 17in alloys, front fog lamps, reverse camera, an 8.4in infotainment screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and more.

Sitting above Longitude is the Limited range comprised of a 1.4-litre MultiAir II engine in two states of tune, a 1.6 MultiJet II and a 2.0-liter MultiJet II with power ranging from 120 hp to 170hp.

Then there’s the range topping Trailhawk, which starts at just £35,595. Not a bad deal if you take the long list of features CarScoops has published into consideration. A 2.0 MultiJet II 170hp 4x4 Auto9 with a plethora of standard equipment including “projector headlights, privacy glass, front and rear off-road bumpers, raised off-road suspension, front and rear skid pates”, and more.
