Exclamation Transmission Issue

My fiance owns a 2008 Jeep Compass Limited 4x4. Ever since we had gotten her car we have been having an issue with the Trans Fluid Temp light turning on. The first time that we experienced the issue was two weeks after we got it. We had it towed to her grandparents and they took it to the dealership we bought it from and they had it towed to a Jeep dealership and they replaced the trans cooler, trans lines and the trans fluid. When the light turns on we lose all power and the Jeep slows down and wont let us get back up to speed. Every time we have the issue we have to stop and let the trans cool off but then it happens again after a few minutes of driving again. Have anyone of you guys experienced this isseue?

There are threads on this yes. People have run into that problem. Recently asked in a dealer when getting my CVT level checked. The did not say more than getting the CVT service. As for other posters. NONE have returned back to what their solution was after it happened. Some repair was done but its unknown what caused it.

The dealer has access to the factory TSB's and should be able to nail it first time. Unless the CVT is dying which is an expensive replacement and I do hope that its being covered if you just bought it.
