    By now the radio matter must be driving you crazy. AYK, I consolidated the multiple threads into one. We're still getting questions, maybe because people don't read your earlier posts. Maybe you could make an authoritative post on the radio thread addressing the many questions people still have?

    AYK I've consolidated the radio threads to clean up the site. Does JeepCares communicate these screen & audio issues to the corp? We’ve had a Jeeps since my '74 and I'm on the threshold of car shopping, but right now I’m afraid to purchase a Chrysler-heritage vehicle. Jeep needs to know your loyal customers are shaken!

    Thank you for assisting with the radio threads! We certainly share the concerns that are discussed on the forum towards our higher peers and Engineering teams to assist our customers. We understand the impact of not being able to enjoy your vehicle with these concerns, but we assure a resolution is coming soon so they can operate as intended.

    Hi,

    I'd like to know how they sell a Jeep that they can't seem to have parts for. I live in N.Y with harsh weather and I've been weeks with no 4wd or remote start since I brought it in for ESS issues. They changed the Auxiliary battery when all the problem was the ESS not working and since I've had a check engine light on with no 4wd , remote start or ESS. They say they're waiting for a part, 3 weeks already.

    Hello, I was wondering if you knew a good place to start to speak to someone at corporate about my Jeep? I recently experienced 2 separate issues with the truck having less than 550 miles on it. 1 being dead main battery and auxiliary battery, and the second one a fluid leak at the PTM due to faulty seal from the factory. It left me with out the truck for a whole week. I had the truck for 29 days, 554 or so miles and physically was without it for 10 days total. I put faith in that my first experience with jeep was going to be a good one, I was even willing to absorb a $350 disposition fee from VW to give Jeep a chance on this lease. Any suggestion or help you could provide would be most appreciated.

    Hi,

    I was wondering if there is any updated software available for a 2007 Jeep Compass CVT transmission. I have read about flashes for newer models. The biggest issue is with moderate to heavy acceleration. The RPMs reach redline and the acceleration does not really pick up. Letting off a bit will drop the RPM and increase the acceleration. Using the autostick feature to keep the RPM down works better. Under low load the transmission works fine, maybe an occasional jerk, but pretty good overall.

    Hi,
    I'm suffering from a major crossmember issue and curious if you have any ideas. I have a 2007 compass and I took it to the dealer for inspection and they said the crossmember is completely rotted. They gave me the number for Chrysler and I called. Customer service stated it was out of the warranty phase and they couldn't help . Have you heard of anyone getting help?

    Inspected as OK in 2014 when warranty extension was issued, was I expected to have repeated frame inspections done after that? The above rot would have been apparent in July 17 when the extension ended, now I'm told 'so sorry, too late' by dealers.

    Is there any source for a fair remedy to this?

    Any help is appreciated.

    In march I took my vehicle to Orange Coast Jeep to have the factory hitch installed. During the process of installing it, the front window was cracked. It took about a month to get it resolved with the dealership. I am now experiencing a rattle in the rear of the car, when I take a look, I see that the rear inside panels, where I assume they run the wires through for the hitch, isn't fully attached and the clips that hold it in are broken. I would like to know what I should do in this situation, I no longer have faith in that dealership, but want to get my car fixed. Can you make a recommendation?

    My son's 2008 patriot ... the front crossmember is rotted out that goes under the tranny/engine... the A/C drips right on it... it is obviously a design flaw.. I've seen this is a huge issue across several lines... I called the 1-800-chrysler line and they said "there hasn't been a recall issued" (I gave her the last 8 off the VIN)... I've also seen on here where you've been able to get people the help they need for this specific issue in getting the manufacturer to fix it.. Is this something you could help us with?

    I am very frustrated that I bought this vehicles the new Jeep Compass MP 2017 Sport and im frustrated and even the rear view interior mirror cant be upgraded without taking it to the dealer. I brought the updated mirror which includes the auto dim feature and it gets power but it dosen't work and now the compass neither is working either. As is the vehicle needs vehicle programing from the dealer ship im very frustrated by this.

    i havent gone to the dealer yet. It had been working again, but when it gets colder I notice the screen will not come on and the mileage blinks.

    I've seen a number of times where you've asked people to DM you in regards to looking up a recall for a vehicle.

    I have a 2008 Patriot that has very bad crossmember rust. I've been hoping that Chrysler extends the recall to 2008's and found a few posts that suggest they might have started doing so.

    Would it be possible to look up my vehicle to see if it is covered? I purchased it used in Ohio.

    Hi, I saw your name posted. I saw you were able to help someone with Jeep Compass rotted/rusted cross members. We were just told my daughters 2008 Jeep Compass has the same problem. Where do I need to start with this issue? Where should we take the car for service? Thank you. Nancy
